At least 16 people, mostly children, have been stabbed in a park near Tokyo.

BREAKING NEWS -  At least 19 people, including eight schoolchildren, were stabbed at a bus stop during rush hour near Tokyo.




The attacker, thought to be in his 40s or 50s, slashed 19 people using two knives in Kawasaki, Japan, at 7.45am today (11.45pm yesterday BST). 
The suspect then stabbed himself in the neck and is thought to be unconscious. He has been taken in to custody.
A NHK report, quoting police, said the wounded were rushed to nearby hospitals, but one child and two adults were believed to have died.
